Head Chef, Raymond (Jack) Ponsonby, photographed here in our Bakery, has been with Hunters for over 25 years. Experienced in all aspects of catering, Raymonds’ specialities include his 5-Star bread, pastries and sweets which are produced free of any additives using fresh, locally sourced products where possible.


Our Manager for over 28 years is Tony Picariello, pictured here with Domenika Westmacott, wife of the proprietor. Tony is rightly proud of his staff and ensures the smooth running of the Inn.

He is conscious that, whilst problems rarely occur, when they do they are dealt with immediately and with the minimum of fuss. We are proud of our service and welcome helpful suggestions from our customers.
